Annual Groundhog Shoot
What: Black powder rifle competition.
Where: 9279 E Ottogan St, Zeeland Mich.
When: January 28th, 2012
Time: Practice 10:30-11:00am Event starts at 11:00am and Lunch will be at noon.
Cost: Five dollars and a blanket prize. Also bring a can of soup to add to the pot.

Winter Trap starts in February 18th and runs 10 weeks. Noon-2pm
.22 Rifle Shoots this winter
CMP style 22 rifle shoots will be held this winter at Tulip City Rod & Gun Club. Dates: Saturdays Jan 28, Feb 25, Mar 24 2012 & Friday nights Jan 6-20, Feb 3-17, Mar 2-16. If your looking to keep your shooting skills sharp over the winter months try this out at TCRC. Chickowa hosts similar matches during the summer months. 20-25 yd targets. 50 shots for record plus sighters. 20 shot Slow prone, 10 shot rapid prone, 10 shot rapid sitting, and 10 slow standing. Rifle classes include iron & optical sights along with a single shot rifle category. Non-TCRC members welcome ($5 daily membership). $10 for 1st relay, $5 for subsequent entries. Contact Jeff at
